Bois Chéri is one of the most important tea factories on the island. You will discover the different stages of production while enjoying a nice cup of tea. You will have a personal driver-guide to take you on a tour and provide you with information, offering a personalized service. You can also customize this visit and plan activities according to your schedule. You may also add other activities such as Blue Bay (marine park) and the Naval Museum of Mahébourg. Details: First, you will explore Bois Chéri where you can see the tea plantation and visit the tea factory. Saint Aubin, also known as Maison Coloniale, was built in 1819, proudly showcasing its anthuriums and greenhouses, as well as its rum distillery. Then, we will visit Gris Gris to observe the waves crashing against the cliffs. Vanille Park is a sanctuary of the Mascarenes Islands, home to sunbathing crocodiles, bats, giant tortoises, and an insectarium with over 20,000 different species.
